my nephew had a severe problem so have re installed windows xp and consequently the blue fn key does not work.(wireless network)
what keyboard layout is needed to correct problem,or is it a different down load to reinstall wireless network.
Keyboard layout never affect the Fn keys, they are all programable keys, and, often with laptops, hard coded to some actions, like toggeling Wi-Fi connectivity.
You probably need to get and install some specific drivers. Those are always available FOR FREE from the maker's web site. Use some whired connection to connect.
Those downloads are normaly found in the support part of the site.
