Mend Heater 10 Start

what part to replace?

Heater shuts down, must unplug and wait 10 min, start on low and run for approx 20 min. We can then turn it up on high it will continue to run for days. if we start it and turn it to high it will shut down and we have to start process again. Is the heating element going out or is the control board going out?
