How do I program JCM Gold - 2150 department key?

I have a JCM Gold 2150 register and having problems programming the department key. I want to program the department 1 key to add repeat entries, ex: 1.23 dept 1 dept 1 subtotal = 2.46. Can you help me out with instructions on how to do this?
