there are two causes of this,first is drip feeding,the water valve (valves)have dirt in them and are not shut down properly,or,you are getting a back flow from your drain outlet from the machine to your sink,most plumbers today do not fit the drain for the machine properly,they connect it to the u bend instead of into a stand pipe,the machone must breath as it pumps water out,the pump becomes a suction pump after all water is pumped from the machine,so any water put down the sink can be sucked back into it
