Mend Beko DVC565 Hob Replace Removing

how can i fix the hob on securely on beko dvc565 cooker?

I have replace a switch on my beko dvc565 cooker but when removing the hob two rubber clips fell off and i cannot see where they go. having replaced the hob top by slotting it into the clips at the front as directed, it is now secure at the back but slides from side to side at the front at little - obviously these rubber clips do have a purpose but i don't know where they belong! please help
