How can I reset my V-Chip password for my Mitsubishi HD1080?

The previous owner to our Mitsubishi HD1080 apparently set the password for the V-chip and now we can't figure it out. Is there a way to reset it without knowing the original password?

It will be easier if you have your HD Receiver remote programmed to your tv remote. Hit the 9 and QV buttons at the same time, after a while the v-chip screen will go away this will have temporarily unlocked the v-chip. Go to your tv setup, v chip menu and hit HOME on your remote. This should completely erase the old password whatever that was. If you have any more issues send me an email siddhusingh@yahoo.com
