Mend Polti Vaporella Prof 1300 Properly Switch Heating

Polti Vaporella Prof 1300 won´t steam properly?

When I switch on my iron after the heating up period steam comes out of iron but water also comes running out of holes in base plate of iron. I have tried cleaning it with polti kalstop but it has made no difference
