Mend Maytag DE180 Clothes Dryer Cleaned

Why doesn't my Maytag DE180 completely dry my clothes?

The clothes in my Maytag DE180 dryer are coming out still wet. I have cleaned the vent portion of the dryer completely. I have clamped an ampmeter to the power feed wires of the dryer. When the dryer is first turned on the heater is working. After 5 to 10 minutes the element kicks out but the tumbler continues to operate. If I shut the dryer off and resart the unit the heater unit in the dryer kicks in again. Could anyone please help me with this problem
