Zanussi ZDC37200W condenser dryer won't start?

When attempting to start using normal sequence setting time, textile type and press start - drying light comes on dryer starts for about 5 seconds then stops and on/off light lashes.. Fault finding process indicates temp sensor at fault, have removed, cleaned and refitted but to no avail. Can't find any spare for this part. Any other ideas as to what might be wrong or where I can source part?
