Mend Fiat Punto M2 Over Not Start

fiat punto m2 52 plate turns over will not start?

hi my daughters punto died would not start turns over fine but does not fire.The green flag mechanic said he suspected the cylinder head gasket.The head was removed and valves etc reconditioned new head gasket . belt timing set right,plug leads renewed and in right order.still wont fire. there is a good spark and fuel in the injector manifold .HELP Does anybody have any sujestions? please!
