f6?

My washing machine paused flashing F6 the machine was in the first stages of a wash.I pressed the pause button to start the machine again the machine clicked a few times then door flashed up I oped and reclosed the door but it still flashes door which now will not open

Funnily enough everyone says that this code is not used, but if it's not used then why the heck does it keep flashing up after my cycle is finished?

The only way to circumnavigate it is at the end of the cycle pull the manual door unlock tab, but then by doing so when you start the next load you need to pull it again to tell the machine the door is locked... argh..... Just got the flipping thing back from the repairers two days ago and back it goes...

How very odd - might Roy & Dave be the same person?

According to the fault code list for the Hotpoint Aqualtis W/mc the code F06 is not used on that machne...

Try a module from www.emwelec.co.uk You can return it if it does not cure the fault
