My DVD RW drive is not working. According to Microsoft,the software driver is up to date. So I guess it must be a hardware problem.I can not burn any photos to cd,play games, etc...cause it's completely dead.
How much it would cost me if I have it repaired? Can I fix it myself?
You could buy a spare part and replace your drive. Another easier option is to buy an external CD/DVD Drive. These plug into your computer via USB. They're quite cheap £20/30 or less.
