Mend Krups 452 Fill Water Straight Machine

Can a leaking coffee maker be fixed?

As soon as I fill the water reservoir, the water goes straight through the machine, coming out all the wholes in the bottom. How can this be repaired - or can it? This is a Krups ProAroma Type 452 12 cup coffee maker.
