Pro 330mm CLM330BT Thicknesser fails to start?

I bought a Pro 330mm CLM330BT Thicknesser some time ago from B&Q. Until recently it has performed flawlessly. When I pushed the start button today it simply hummed and clicked. It has never been over worked and I doubt that it is a problem with the carbon brushes. Could it be the starter switch and if so where can I get a replacement.
