Flashing '-E-' on Diplomat APM6855?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can help....

About 12-18 months ago I replaced the temperature probe on my Diplomat Fridge Freezer, as per the thread of this webpage, and it has been working perfectly....up until a few days ago.

The Freezer side of the LCD display keeps flashing '-E-'. The fridge side was OK, but in the last 24 hours the temperature has started to increase till it now shows 'H'.

I have checked the connections at the back, as well as for any blockages on the evaporator and all seems to be good, but the '-E-' continues to flash?!

Anyone got any thoughts/answers?
