Mend Gas Stay Release Control Knob

how to fix gas hob?

Only 2 of my 4 gas hob rings work.....2 of them wont stay on....ie gas goes out when you release the control knob

it may just need a service as some new gas hobs come with a flame sensing device, which may not be sensing the flame. if its not so then it will be a faulty gas valve but get a gas engineer into check it. as it to do with gas better to be safe then sorry as incorrect gas burning produces carbon monoxide which is lethal
