Leisure 2100 Sterling SI gas cooker igniter broken?

When I try to ignite the rings/oven/grill nothing happens (there is no clicking noise), any help greatly appreciated.

Check battery, check switch, check spark generator in that order. Details in user manual which may be found online as a pdf if you don't have your original.
