Mend Stoves 900CTH Couple Days Red

I have a Stoves 900CTH installed in 2005 ?

A couple of days ago I got a red beeping light with A7 on it. There is nothing in the Stoves book to say what this is, in fact no fault finding at all. I presume from reading previous blogs that it is the C17 unit that needs replacing. Can someone just verify this only the hob is now doing this more and all the hobs decide to come on so this is now becoming a hazzard. Thanks
