it will run only if im pushing very hard on the door right under the lock

The water heats up ok, and it stops on other programmes. If I move it on a small amount it will then finish the wash ok.

Possibly faulty program unit. mechanism damaged. OR it cannot move on, as it is waiting for something to happen, such as the water heating up. Try different programs, check if water heating etc.
