So the dopey engineers out there know what's going on lol,

Fairy lights belong on Christmas trees not on sounder's, there's no need for a sounder to visually display the systems health status.

A fixed notification light whether it on sounder or mounted above an entry/exit then that's different .

I just love these 'lights', flash when set, DOESN'T flash when NOT set.

What does all that tell everyone about the state of your alarm?

Oh look, Mark's alarm is not set. Oh look, Mark's alarm is set, he's not in. 5mins should give us enough time, no one takes much notice of alarms any way. We'll enter and leave from the back, not so much chance of being seen then

40yrs + in this business qualifies me in making this statement.
