Help please
Soon as I open hot water tap water runs very hot then goes to warm when I close tap half way water getting hotter again when i change temp.on tap knob nothing happens.

the dhw heat exchanger most likely scaled up. when you first turn the tap on the water has been in the boiler allowing it to warm up but when u open the tap to full the heat exchanger is blocked allowing low flow rate of heating water to heat the cold water up but when u reduce the flow the water has enough time to heat up get a plumber in to clean it out or replace the heat ex
