Sam4s ER-290 cash register?

Hi I have a Sam4s ER-290 cash register which emits a continuos bleepwhen the key control is in every position except off. No key configurations make any difference. Can you help please?

There is no initial clear for this model since it is so basic. Therefore, you need to work out the problem. Firstly, try turning the key to each position and press clear. E.g turn to REG mode, press clear. Turn to X mode and press clear etc. If it stops beeping in any mode other than off, then that is where you last were, so finish in that mode.
