Mend Firebird 120 Popular Flue Oil Boiler

noise from flue ?

i have a firebird 120 popular oil boiler, works great, heats everything, but the noise from the flue pipe is awful loud, what do you think is wrong? the flue is vertical comes out of the boiler house roof , do you think we need a longer flue pipe, help
