Mend Alarm Box Failure

My home intruder alarm hi-tech rear outside box keeps ringing?

My home alarm was triggered after a power failure. The rear box kept on ringing even after entering the code. Now it keeps on tinkling/ringing intermittently. Annoying everyone. Could it be the box with the strobe gone faulty or the battery?
