How can I get the red flue light to go out ???

I have a Worcerter 24CDI combi boiler on which the red light is showing according to the booklet this shows a possible flue problem any idea what it can be other than a bird stuck in it as it has a small grill on the outlet which would appear far too small for animals to get in
