Mend Cannon Cambridge Turn Top Oven

why cant on turn on my top oven?

i have a cannon cambridge double oven and the knob that turns the top oven and the grill on, WONT turn for the grill, ive have forced it as hard as i can but it will not turn, also the top oven will not heat up as well as it used to any ideas?
