Mend Philips Dvd Player

Philips DVD player and Horizontal lines?

When i turn on dvd player, has horizontal lines, tried wiggling scart lead, unplugging and putting it back, also tried a dvd lens cleaner. Does this need repairing or would a new scart lead help.
