springs are mounted in middle of the cabinet on the top edge on the left and right sides covered with a piece of metal held on with 2 8mm nuts and then hook in to the carbonized plastic outer tub

Ok so I have removed the top and cannot see the springs - there is a lot of stuff at the top! I haven't done this before so not sure what I'm looking for. Thx!

springs are at the top so all you need to do is remove the top held on with 2 screws at the back
