how can i fix my hotpoint wms38?

hi andrew.its quite complicated but can be done by yourself if you are handy? front control panel off,door rubber off front only,front of washer off 3 screws behind control panel 3 behind lower kick plate,pull plug out of door lock take front of washer off,you can then see the element,undo middle bolt of cover,undo middle bolt on element but not all the way off push the nut in until flush with element you can now pull out element
