Honeywell accenta g3?

Our alarm keeps going off when we turn our bedroom light on, the alarm's ok if we don't use the light.Don't know what's wrong or where to start, i'am thinking of switching the alarm off altogether, can you help?

Thanks all but the battery was replaced 3yrs ago, just tried it without the three spot bulbs fitted to the fixture and it seems fine.

Just replace with same rating already fitted, it reflects on your systems ma draw, but have the lighting circuit checked over first :)

Get an electrician in just to check the loop, if all's well then replace the battery inside the control panel.

Ask the electrician if he would replace the battery for you,

better safe than sorry :)

You need a new battery in the alarm box. a 2.9ah 12volt dc battery.

Do you have a sensor in the bedroom, if not, something to do with the light or cct, what type of light and light fitting, basic lamp, is is low power one, try changing it, something else, fan or other etc, could be causing interferance with some sensor, which alarm cct does it say is giving the problem check the sensor on that cct.
