How can i fix my friends clio?

Help needed please, my friend asked me to have a look at her clio for her as it won't start. It turns over good enough but is not firing. While having a quick look i noticed her key and ignition seemed quite loose and on the last turn if you wiggled the key there was a clicking noise from the engine bay and the clock on the dash board would go on and off. She also mentioned if she turns the key fully round to start it the electric windows don't work. Any help would be much appreciated.
