NO CD error code on ford 5000 stero/cd multi changer?

The stereo AND cd changer has been working fine but I pressed the CD button the other day to listen to a disc but nothing happened and it stated NO CD on the display. iv checked the mult changer in the back and its still full of discs and will eject/reload so it has power. Any ideas please?
