what is wrong with my matsui mce61tc-c hob?

the hob switches its self off after about a minutes and then power returns aprox five to ten minutes later

all electrics work but hobs will not heat up ie we can set each hob from 1 to 9 but will not heat up

you may be using a pot that is much smaller than the ring and not absorbing all the heat, otherwise a regulator or toc is faulty
