Didnt have to remove the pedal at all as all that was between me and the front sprocket was three bolts holding a cover in place. Also, no force was necessary to remove or replace the front sprocket. Bit of force was needed to remove the nut holding the front sprocket on, but other than that.
Hopefully a strip down isn't needed becasue im assuming that could be quite costly, i will try the clutch tonight and sweee how that goes.
