nissan almera just cuts off?

I bought a 2nd hand Nissan Almera 2003 1.6 model.The problem is that it just cuts off when driving and it is very scary especially when you are in the motorway. It will remain off for about 10 to 15 minutes and after that it starts normally. Driving with high revs for more than 10 minutes will make it cut and driving the car at less than 2500 REVS(Less than 80KM/H) will not affect the car.
