Mend Toshiba 55inch LED 3D Screen Led Best

IS my new tv screen damaged or is it just glue ?

Just bought toshiba 55inch LED 3D from best buy. They set it up and left, Iwent to clean the screen and found a scratch on the screen,then I found a small drop of glue on the screen but not sure if it is glue or this tv was chiped and they filled it with some type of hardener is this possible
