Mend Kenmore 34226 Switch Type Number

Require switch type number ?

Kenmore central vacuum 34226 stay on when plugged in the wall. Resistance across the two contacts of the hose measures about half a meg with switch in off position. Motor and board have been changed to no avail. Kenmore tech says hose ok. Wall plugs measure open circuit. Should not the hose measure open circuit in the off position?
