From day mode enter your eng code, if correct eng code entered then all 8 zone LEDs should flash, press button 8 to enter the timer menu.

At this stage if LEDs 1 or 3 are lit, or both then press 2 to disable the timer,.

If you go in and all appears ok then it's a new panel I'am afraid to say, don't waste your money getting an engineer in,buy a new system.It probably has a bad joint somewhere on the board.

Can you tell me how, we have the user booklet although rather tatty I have to say, but no mention of this in there.Not sure if some pages are missing, thnx for your time.

If the system is operational at this stage then maybe something to do with the service timer, have you been into engineering and checked this?.
