Mend Fiat Punto Handbrake

handbrake on my fiat punto?

the cables start under the ashtray.when the handbrake is up the 1 on the left is loose but the other 1 is really tense..were does the cables run to, under the backseat??

probably through the floor and run to each drum/caliper,could be hidden under exhaust shields etc
