fridge freezer not working ?

hi my mistral fridge freezer fridge isnt getting cold ..the display on front of fridge is broken so i cant tell what errors are showing ....the freezer seems to be getting to cold and icing up at the back ...would this be why the fridge isnt working because the cold air isnt getting to it ...what do i need to do to fix both problems thank you ...TINA x
