how do i turn up the brightness on my laptop?

i have an amilo pro laptop and the screen seems rather low even when i have charged the battery it is brand new pc with new battery can anyone tell me were i go to brighten the screen as it seem rather dull

To ask the obvious, have you turned up the brightness using the keyboard option?

I suspect that somewhere on your keyboard there will be two keys which, when pressed with the function key, allow you to control the screen brightness.

(I know what you mean. I have mine turned right up all the time.)
