Looking to buy 2000 Saab 9-3 se hatch, help?

hey I'm 17 years old and looking to buy a 2000 saab 9-3 se hatchback with 107k miles but it has a coolant leak which could possibly be the head gasket, it is located a little less than 100 miles away and i am wondering if it would be worth it or not, and possibly if you have any insight on the coolant leak problem? Also if you know of any common problems with the car and could let me know? Any informations is greatly appreciated, thank you.
