Mend Hotpoint DWM55 Blowing Switch Turn

hotpoint dwm55 blowing fuse/tripping switch as soon as turn on?

Hi I have a hotpoint dwm55 and as soon as I turn the dishwasher on it either blows the fuse in the plug and/or trips the fuse board and turns the downstairs sockets off. I have checked for leaks and had the front/back and bottom side panel off, and no signs. I understand that it may be shorting? The waste/pumps etc are not blocked? Any help would be much appreciated

Hi, I have tried it in 3 other sockets but still get the same problem, all other appliances are ok in the sockets.

it might be the socket that its pluged into , unplug it and try something ,, into the same socket.. radio/kettel ect, to test that socket,
