Mend Hotpoint Aquaris Hot Washer Dryer Wash

any adcice on what is wrong ??? hot point aquaris washer dryer?

i have had my washer/dryer on boil wash this morning, and after a while the water had drained but i heard a slight 'popping' noise coming from it, the lights on the machine had gone out, we turned it off at the wall, left it for 30 mins then tried to trun it back on but it tripped the electrics can anyone advise me as to what they think is wrong thankyou
