can water inlet valve be bad if ?

can water inlet valve be bad on fisher pakel washing machine if machine finishinshes first of three wash cycles then goes from warm wash to hot starts beeping then after a few minutes shuts down

If you have selected cold wash & then water coming in on rinse cycle is hot then the answer is no. You have the hoses on the wrong taps. Make sure cold tap hose is on cold inlet valve. It is marked H & C on back of panel.
