washing machine problem Dyson CR01 FL P&W?

I inherited a dyson washing machine when I moved to my new house, not sure which model it is form the dyson website it looks like the Dyson CR01 FL P&W. I don't have the manual for it and the screen is broken (can see flashing red dots but no letters) yesterday I put on a load of washing and came back to find 7 hours later it was still going! I cancelled the cycle and removed the very soggy clothes but when I tried another wash (smaller load on a different setting as I thought I'd over loaded it) it would not spin or fill the drum tried to rotate but stopped with a clunk like a locking sytem was engaged. I left it for about 30mins and tried again now it fills and rotates and then keeps on filling it does not drain unless I cancell and it fills through the small slot of the soap draw not the normal slot.

I've cleaned out the filter and cleaned out the soap draw but the problem wont go away, please help me!

I really dont want to have to shell out for a engineer or a new washer. Does anyone have any idea how I could fix this??
