My Brandt upright frost free freezer has ceased freezing is it dead or just?

My Brandt upright freezer has ceased freezing and both green and red indicator lights are showing. There is a hum which appears to come from the top rear and the air flow seems O.K. Is it likely to be worth having a callout or, on balance, would it be throwing good money after bad?
