Mend Hot Stopped Bathroom

how can i fix my window?

I have double glazing in and the hot weather recently has stopped my bathroom window from closing. It is hinged at tue top and opens outwards, the small metal stubs on the bottom of the frame now catch and stop it closing. Any advice?

don`t file anything!
the sash has dropped on the hinges. the sash is secured to the hinges with screws that go through SLOTS and a screw that goes through a HOLE.
remove the screw thats in the HOLE and loosen the screws that go through the SLOTS.
the sash can now be moved to the desired height.
tighten back up. do one side at a time.

try fileing it down so it wont clip off the window as you shut it,
