Challenge Xtreme SDS Hammer Drill MRH6165?

I recently bought a Challenge Xtreme SDS Hammer Drill MRH6165 at an auction, which appears to be brand new. Carrying case and all accessories, not a scratch. Trouble is when I plug in and press to start nothing happens. Have I been done or is there a fix. I've tested the obvious, power supply and fuse are OK.
