how can i fix my nokia 6230i?

this has been a problem for me because my younger sister droped it in water and it says insert sim this is because the main chip for the simcard has been wet internally,wot i suggest is that you leave your phone on top of a computer or a moniter this helped me , keep it there for a few days if it doesnt work then you have to find a hot warm place to keep it in for eg boiler. hope this helps
